International Pilots of the Future coming to UK

This summer will see young pilots from all over the world descend upon the UK to take part in “The British Aviation Experience”, Brookfield Education and Training’s own unique two week course for 14 to 18 year olds. Since the first places were made available to the students in December, young people from as far away as Argentina, Belize and India are among dozens who have signed up for the courses which will take place in July and August this year.

“The interest in this programme from all over the world has been overwhelming” said Ly Tran, Brookfield’s education co-ordinator, “the courses are filling up fast and we are looking to add additional courses in order to accommodate everybody”.

The programme includes flying lessons on light aircraft, B-747 simulator, emergency training, visits to aircraft maintenance hangar, aircraft museums , London and Cardiff sightseeing and go-kart racing. There are English lessons daily for those who need to progress towards ICAO level 4.

We welcome all young people with an interest in aviation to join the programme. A great experience and introduction to the profession.
