Aircraft manufacturer Bombardier recently signed a contract with an undisclosed customer for an aircraft and services agreement valued at approximately 4 billion USD. Announced late yesterday, the contract includes a firm order for 50 Challenger and Global jets, with options for an additional 70 aircraft, along with a product support package.
Deliveries of the aircraft ordered by the mystery customer are scheduled to begin in 2027. The contract also includes a “comprehensive and integrated” maintenance agreement for the fleet. Combined, the firm orders and maintenance agreement are valued at 1.7 billion USD.
The customer has made it clear that they wish to remain anonymous, as they are in the process of preparing to announce their service offering. The manufacturer, Bombardier, has also not disclosed any details regarding the client’s business model or geographic location.

The aircraft purchased by the customer are primarily from Bombardier’s Global and the Challenger families. The Challenger family includes the 650 and 3500 models, while the Global line comprises the 5500, 6500, and 8000 variants, with ranges spanning 3,400 to 8,000 nautical miles.
Bombardier President and CEO Eric Martel stated: "This significant order underscores the competitive advantage Bombardier’s full scope of products and services brings to customers throughout the entire aircraft life cycle.
