Quan-rantine: The Reality of Humanitarian Flights.

Thirteen hours flight, three hours of ground transport and fourteen days in a collective quarantine. That is what It takes to travel home from London to Vietnam on a humanitarian flight. This was an extremely hard experience, energy consuming but the at the same time perhaps the only way to travel in these difficult times.

Aviation activities have gradually resumed in different parts of the world. Many airlines are desperate for countries to re-open their borders in order to pick up trade. Tourism and investment activities must resume now to recover and have a promising future. The vaccine might be the only solution to get back on track, but again, time to test it as well as mass-producing it and the costs involved are still a big concern. We might have to live our “new normal life” with the virus in the upcoming months as there is a trade-off between health and economy.
