Hiring B737 & A320 B1 Engineers in Amsterdam

Our client in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is recognised for offering one of the most competitive contractor packages for EASA Part-66 B1 Licensed Engineers in Europe. 


 The engineering team is made up of highly skilled professionals from diverse cultural and technical backgrounds, working together in a well-structured and supportive maintenance environment at Schiphol Airport. 


With recruitment now open for 2026, this opportunity is well suited to aircraft engineers seeking strong earning potential and a balanced work-life structure within a major European aviation hub. 


Aircraft Types and Ratings Required 

We are currently recruiting EASA Part-66 B1 Engineers with the following type ratings: 


  • Boeing 737NG  

  • Airbus A320 NEO (LEAP)  

  • Dual-rated engineers (B737 and A320 NEO) with higher pay available 



Requirements 

Candidates should meet the following criteria: 


  • Type-rated on B737NG and/or A320 NEO (LEAP)  

  • EASA Part-66 B1 Licence 

  • Minimum 6 months experience on type within the last 2 years  

  • Proven and consistent work history  

  • Ability to work independently  

  • Willingness to work both day and night shifts  

  • Legal right to live and work in the European Union  

  • Fluent English communication skills 


Engineers holding both type ratings will benefit from enhanced remuneration. 



Terms & Conditions 


Remuneration 

  • B737 NG: €65 per hour  

  • A320 NEO (LEAP): €65 per hour  

  • Dual Type Rated (B737 & A320): €67 per hour.  

  • Location: Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam  

  • Working Pattern: Full-time  

  • Shifts: Mix of day and night shifts  

  • Maintenance: Line and Base  

  • Flight Allowance: Provided 

 

Accommodation: Brookfield Aviation can assist by introducing engineers to hotels and apartment providers near Schiphol Airport, where preferential rates may be available. Accommodation costs are the sole responsibility of the individual engineer. Neither Brookfield Aviation nor the client is responsible for accommodation expenses.  


Contract Duration: Until December 2026, with potential for renewal 

Start Date: Multiple intakes available throughout 2026
