El Dorado Named "Best Airport in South America" for Third Consecutive Year



El Dorado International Airport has been awarded the title of "Best Airport in South America" by Skytrax for the third consecutive year and the sixth time overall. Additionally, it has been recognised for the fourth time as the airport with the Best Staff in South America, underscoring its commitment to exceptional traveller experiences. 

 

These prestigious awards were presented during the Passenger Terminal Expo in Frankfurt, Germany. Natalí Leal, General Manager of Opain, the concessionaire of El Dorado, expressed gratitude, stating, "This recognition motivates us to continue enhancing the travel experience for over 40 million passengers annually. Being the best in South America reflects our collective dedication to providing a memorable experience." 

 

Skytrax evaluates more than 550 airports globally through extensive traveller surveys conducted over a seven-month period. These surveys assess passenger experiences across all service areas, including check-in, arrivals, transfers, shopping, security, immigration, and departure.
