ACCOMMODATION

University accommodation will be provided at the expense of the student, depending on availability. Private accommodation is available in Velika Gorica or Zagreb. Velika Gorica is a bit cheaper and living in Zagreb has an additional public transportation cost. Estimated private accommodation costs are between €200 – €400 a month. The university will assist students in finding the most suitable accommodation.

Payment schedule:

Deposit to secure place on course: €5,000

Payment due before 1st September 2016: €11,500

Payment due before 1st September 2017: €11,500

Payment due before 1st March 2018: €2,000

 

Total costs: €30,000 EUR

HOW COURSES ARE TAUGHT

The course is conducted with one of Europe’s most renowned national airlines and maintenance organisations and it allows students to get theoretical and practical experience to become a licenced engineer. At the end of the course, if the student passes, will be able to apply for EASA Part-66 aircraft maintenance licence (AML) for professional employment with Type Rating on the Airbus A320 CFM56, 3.5 years practical experience and their Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering Degree from the University of Applied Sciences Velika Gorica.

 

The course is set over three and a half years. Once students have successfully completed the entire course they will earn their degree and will be authorised to use the professional title Baccalaureus Engineer of Aircraft Maintenance and perform professional tasks in the scientific area and field of the respective study programme. The combination of the Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering Degree and the EASA Part-66 AML will give the graduates the very best chance for them to start their career as an Aircraft Engineer.

 

ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

You need a minimum level of English language skills in order to study this course.If English is not your first language you should have at least one of the following qualifications (or equivalent) as a minimum.

 

  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS): You need an overall score of 6.0, with at least 6.0 or higher in each component: reading, writing, listening and speaking. An alternative approved Secure English Language Test (SELT) will also be accepted if the applicant’s element scores are equivalent to those required for IELTS. Find out more at IELTS website

  • Pearson Test of English Academic You need a minimum score for each individual element of 51 and 52 overall.

  • Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) You need grade C or above.

  • Cambridge Certification in Advanced English (CAE) You need grade C or above.

  • O-Level English Language or GCSE English Language You need grade C or above (UK Exam board).

  • Malaysian SPM 1119 You need grade 6 or above (only grades 1, 2 or 3 are acceptable for Law).
